4 star OL Kareem Are 6'6" 300lbs of Fort Scott JC, KS made an official visit to Ole Miss Thursday thru Saturday. He had planned to make a decision Monday but said Saturday night coaches want to visit him this week so he's going to delay the decision until later in the week. Are did admit to, for the first time, having a pretty good feeling about where he plans to go. "I'm happy because a week ago I had no idea," Are said. "The opportunity and the feeling I get, the good feeling I have," he said in explaining why he liked this school. "I'm going to talk to talk it over with my mom. If she don't like the school that I'm thinking, I've got to make sure she's okay with it. I'm going to explain to her why." Are said his mom does not have a favorite. As for the visit to Ole Miss, Are was impressed. "It went very well surprisingly, I wasn't expecting it to go that well to be honest with you. Just like all the other visits, it's a lot harder now. Everyone is like family out there. When they told me they were graduating five O-linemen, I had to see what's up." Are talked with USC recruiter Deke Adams Saturday after he got back from his visit. He's expecting Adams and his Ole Miss recruiter to visit him this week. Are is also considering Florida State and Penn State.
