3 star OL [COLOR= rgb(178, 34, 34)]Pete Leota [/COLOR]6'5" 307lbs of Asheville attended USC’s pool party last Friday and left Columbia with USC his favorite ahead of North Carolina and Virginia Tech. It also appeared Leota was moving towards a final decision perhaps as early as this week. But Monday Leota said he is not making a decision just yet because he has more recruiting work to do.
“My parents want to go see one more school,” Leota said. “We’re going to visit Virginia Tech and maybe North Carolina. I’m not sure when.”
Leota has been to both schools before but his mother has not yet seen Virginia Tech, so that visit will be primarily for her. Leota said USC commitments CJ Freeman and Will Putnam have been in touch with him as have coaches Deke Adams and Steve Spurrier Jr. He said the Gamecocks continue to lead for him.
