After waking up to rainy weather in Tampa this morning, the sun made an appearance just as the Gamecocks began practice around 11 AM (watch post-practice media interviews here.)
After practice the team enjoyed a great lunch from Outback Steakhouse, then headed out to Busch Gardens for the afternoon. A group of players were given a special chance to see the best of the park - learning some new moves from dancers (video of Victor Hampton's attempt here), riding one of the most popular roller coasters (watch video of their reactions right after getting off Cheetah Hunt here), and feeding giraffes. A big thank you to the Outback Bowl and Busch Gardens staff members who escorted them through the attractions and made it all possible!
"[Feeding the giraffes] was awesome. It was everything I wanted it to be. I was waiting for it all day and finally got to feed them. I was excited," Kenny Miles said after the experience. "I love animals. I like giraffes and getting to feed them made me even more excited to see them."
