The portal giveth and the portal taketh away. I think you are going to see some do well and some do not. I have never felt like Burch lived up to his ranking coming out of High School. Big difference between SCISA ball and big time High School programs. I can't blame the kids for wanting to take the money many of them come from backgrounds where money struggles are real and they need it. We knew this would happen when they opened the $$$$ up so it is just something we will have to live with now.

In football these days, it would seem like one TD/game is the standard for an RB on any team given how prevalent the passing game is.

Although ML is obviously on a better team where he doesn't have to be the guy, it does highlight how special and rare Lattimore's multi-TD games were for us back then.

Both Anderson and Lloyd have the strength, power, and instincts a successful RB should have, but Lattimore had those things plus his great cuts and moves.

He was going to be our next Heisman winner before the devastating injuries.
