Team running drills
- Davis and Wilds break back to back big gainers up the middle.
- Wilds bangs with Lewis and pushes the pile.
- Davis gets outside
- Rainey sticks Sally for no gain
- pitch to Salley for about 8
- FB49 gets held up at the line.
- Diggs blitzes. They pitch to Salley the other way and he picks up a big chunk.
- Wilds stopped for loss.
- Davis stopped at the line by Roberts.
- Wilds nice jump cut for big gain
- Davis hit in the backfield by English.
Full team scrimmage
- Wilds off tackle for a few
- Thompson throws low and Shaq scoops it.
- Bruce in motion. Thompson takes it himself for a big gain. They blew
it dead though.
- Davis crushed for loss by Quarles
- Thompson on zone read. He gets a couple before Clowney tags him.
- Nos bad decision throwing over the middle into coverage. Intended
for Fuller. Should have been picked.
- Sands losing his SH!T over Salley throwing the ball after getting
held up by Lewis. Lewis gets live on his way back to the huddle.
"Don't you ever let me see you drop that damn ball again!" - Sands as he is sprinting towards Salley.
- Diggs gets shook by Bradshaw on a screen.
- Thompson keeps it to the outside. Legree stops him after about 4.
- Thompson showing he can run with it. Same play bigger gain.
- Davis gets through the gap for at least five.
- Nos does a great job avoiding pressure. Steps up but throws it out
of bounds. "Don't jump! Don't. Jump!" - Deke Adams
Breaking back up into drills for some reason. On the left side of the field we have the DL/OL working technique. Some 5 v 5, some 1 v 1 or 2 v 1. A lot of teaching going on so I'll to the right side of the field where the QBs/DBs/WRs/RBs are running plays.
- Bruce catches a slant and makes someone miss for a nice gain
- Legree driving pick. Nos under threw it a little
- Thompson can't connect with Adams deep. Adams had his man beat.
- Moody jumps the route for a nice pick on the sideline
- DT looks off and hits Owens for 6
- Shamier comes up limping. Not sure what happened. Nos over threw him badly
- Shaq can't hold on. Good coverage by Legree.
- FB49 makes a nice grab with Hampton on him
- PBU in the endzone by Diggs. Intended for Adams.
- DT hits Smith on an out. Looked like his third option.
- Swing to FB49. Great fingertips catch and stays in bounds. This kid
is always making some kind of play. Still no update on the roster.
Back to scrimmaging
- Shaq does a good job coming back to DTs pass. First down.
- DT has plenty of time and drops a bomb. Way over everyone except
Williams. He gets his hands on it but drops it. Gotta make that play.
- DT a little too high for little Nick Jones.
- "where's Brison? Hey Brison, that was your chance." Sounded like Ward was lettin that one slide but making sure it doesnt happen again. But Ward pointed to the bleachers so maybe he has some stairs to climb after practice.
- Davis with a 25 yard rush. He has looked better than Wilds today.
- Brent for about 10
- David stopped at the line by Roberts and Holloman
- Nos almost gets sacked. Checks down to Davis. Gets him crushed.
- Lewis PBU on Adams.
- Nos hits Brent on the sideline and he gets some YAK.
- Adams drops another one. Not a great day for him. It hasnt all been his fault but he needs to get going.
- Swing to Davis. Gets back to the line.
- Harris an Washington make Nos get ride of it quick. Incomplete.
- Ard no good from 37
- Makes it on the mulligan
- Mitch hand off to Davis for a few
- Mitch throws a screen. Rhodes was already there. WR got popped.
- Mitch tries to step up in the pocket but the DL gets him.
- Mitch rolls to his right. Beautiful pass to Adams. He picked up
about 15 after the catch.
- Mitch follows it up with another two completions. One for 12 and
then a Screen that was taken up for another 5.
- Mitch hits Fuller on a slant. He hops out of an arm tackle and gets hit.
- Snap over Mitch's head.
- English a sack. Dixon was getting held the whole time.
- Fake to Salley. Mitch doesn't get much from it though.
- Best punt I've seen In WB in years! Out on the 2 yard line.
- Hails screen to Duckett. He can't bring it in.
- Wilds for 11 up the middle.
- Wilds tackle for loss. Dixon Dukes and Diggs were in on it.
- Orth probably would have been sacked by Harris in a real game but
he makes the pass.?
- Complete on the sideline to Heard for about 10.
- Orth fakes the handoff but defense isn't buying it.
- Orth fumbles. Not sure if it was forced or a bad snap.
- Hampton fields the punt on the bounce but falls down making his first cut.
- Nos doesn't get anything on the keeper to the outside.
- Shaq catches it and makes the first man miss. Gains another 10
before being dragged down from behind by Rainey.
- Nos gets rid of it out of bounds then misses his man high on the
next two play. I haven't seen anything this spring to suggest that he
could come in and help the team this year. If something happens to
Shaw and DT we might have to burn Miltchs redshirt.
- Another beaut by the punter. Great hangtime. Fair catch inside the 10.
- Salley with a big gainer up the middle. They go right back to him for 3 more.
- Rainey slings his man to the ground as soon as he caught it.
- Mitch holds onto it for 10 on the ground. Doesn't look nervous at all in the pocket or when he gets flushed. Great poise.
- Swing to Salley for a handful.
- Miscommunication between Mitch and Heard. Lucky it wasn't picked.
- Salley gets stuffed at the line.
- Nobody open. Coverage sack issued to Harris.
- Mitch tries to dump off to Salley. Couldn't hold on. Prob a good
thing bc he would have gotten crushed behind the line.
- Holloman and Waldrop brawlin. Waldrop got the worst of it. Lost his helmet.
- Roberts now gettin into it with a WR. Gets sent to the sideline.
- Goalline fade to Jeffery for the TD. Perfect throw by Mitch.
- Ard missed another one. Looked like something was riding on that one bc the whole team was gathered around.
Practices ends with extra sprints for everyone.
