Who surprised and who needs to step up in 2013?

IMHO-Shaq Roland needs to be more agressive and go get the ball. He is wearing the GARNET #4. That number needs to be better represented.

Who from the 2013 commits are you looking forward to seeing? Alfy Hill, Gerald Turner and

Jamari Smith for me.

Shaq Roland played just fine when he was put in… His problem is not lack of ability, but lack of playing time due to thee fact we have a deep roster of talented wide outs around him. there aren’t many receivers in the nation who would beat out Bruce Ellington and Ace Sanders to steal their PT.

I was hoping Dukes would have a better showing coming off his Rs year… When he did play, he usually was ineffective, and got ripped by Lawing afterward. Looks like JT Surratt is stepping up though…

Chaz Elder Rs this year and he is one I am hoping will live up to his HS hype next season.

I don’t see many incoming guys who I expect will make a bit impact as true freshmen in the current cycle. not because they are not good players, but because they have good players ahead of them who have been on the team long enough to learn our system. Now, that being said, some outstanding talents like Latti or Clowney are going to break into the starting lineup as freshmen no matter who else we have ahead of them… and there is not anybody who looks to be on that level in this class, YET.
