I thought his role as Depp's father in Blow was one of his best roles.
Loved him in Goodfellas, Field of Dreams, and the aforementioned Blow. I kinda feel like he was under-utilized a bit. Maybe I missed them, but he didn't seem to really land big roles outside of Goodfellas. It seems like he could have done well in a lot of things.
