USC recruiter GA Mangus hit the Northeast last week to check in on some of his targets including 4 star RB David Williams 6'1" 185lbs of Philadelphia. "He came by the school Friday," Williams said. "We couldn't talk but I called him that night." Williams has taken an official visit to Arizona State and is scheduled to visit Tennessee November 24th. USC, Nebraska and Ohio State are the others in his top five and he plans to take officials to each after his season with his mom, step dad and younger brother. He does not have a favorite but said he talks regularly to Mangus and Gamecock running backs coach Everette Sands. He considers Mangus one of his favorite recruiters. Williams plans to wait until his all star game before announcing a decision. This season his team is 10-0 and just won the public league title. Williams stays home and watches USC Saturday

4 star RB David Williams 6'1" 185lbs of Philadelphia had planned to go to Ohio State Saturday on an official visit but he wasn't able to get his transcript to the school in time, so the trip has been postponed. Instead, Williams watched the USC-Clemson game with a focus on the Gamecocks' running game. "It was a great game, both teams came to play," Williams said. "I was pretty pleased with the outcome. I watched how they (USC) ran the ball, the different formations and how much they ran the ball." Williams continues to favor USC over Ohio State and Miami. He's aware of whom USC has returning in the backfield and has been briefed on the future of Marcus Lattimore. "He's got the option to come back but they don't think he'll come back," he said. "They think he's going to heal up and get ready for the combine." Williams has visited Arizona State officially and is scheduled to visit USC January 19th. He plans to wait until his all star game to announce a final decision.

His coach said last week Williams has set up two more trips. He will go to Penn State January 12th and to Miami January 26th. Ohio State is also making a push for Williams and could get a visit in January
