RB Derrell Scott to make USC official visit this weekend

RB Derrell Scott 5'10" 190lbs of Havelock, NC has been USC's top running back target for the 2014 class. He's made several unofficial visits to USC over the past two seasons and this weekend he will make his official visit. Scott confirmed the visit via text Thursday afternoon. Scott has taken official visits to NC State and Tennessee. USC has been his favorite thru the recruiting process and the Gamecocks are trying to fend off the others, particularly Tennessee which impressed Scott on his visit there. Scott is a Shrine Bowl selection and a former teammate of current USC receiver Pharoh Cooper.
