Recruiting Notebook: Chalmers decision expected Wednesday; Kinlaw, Gray dropping info Wednesday

DB Kaleb Chalmers of Northwest Mississippi JC and Greenwood is expected to make his college decision Wednesday, the first day of the mid-year signing period for junior college prospects. Chalmers, a one time Clemson cornerback, is down to USC and Ole Miss and took official visits to both.
DE Javon Kinlaw of Jones County JC, MS will release his top three schools Wednesday. He has been looking at USC, Alabama, Southern Cal and Texas A&M for his visits in January. Kinlaw said he exchanged text messages with USC coach Will Muschamp Tuesday, something he does on a daily basis.
OL Tony Gray of Loganville, GA plans to release his list of official visits Wednesday. USC had an in home visit with him in late November.
North Augusta DE Tre Lawson made his decommitment from Tennessee official with an announcement on Twitter Tuesday night.
2018 DB Israel Mukuamu of Berkeley is moving to Bossier City, LA with his family. He has a USC offer. He’s the third member of the state’s 2018 class to announce a move for next season. DE Xavier Thomas of Wilson is going IMG Academy in Florida and WR Jordyn Adams of Blythewood is moving to Greenville, NC
