Recruiting Notes For August 16, 2017: Decision day for two USC targets; Vann update

O’Neal, who has known his decision since earlier this month, had USC, Maryland and Rutgers at the top of his list. He visited each before deciding. And while Carvin visited USC for the spring game and remained in touch with offensive line coach and recruiter Bobby Bentley, it appears his top schools were Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi State.[/COLOR]
WR Josh Vann[COLOR= rgb(0, 0, 0)] of Tucker, GA said Tuesday night nothing has changed with him, USC is still his favorite over Georgia with an announcement coming either Saturday or Monday. Vann said should his team win its game Saturday morning, he’ll likely go ahead and announce after the game since he’ll be in a good mood. But a loss likely would cause him to wait until Monday afternoon at his school.[/COLOR]
