Recruiting July 13th: McWilliams sets commitment date; Brooks to visit USC; Joyner taking more visits; Thomas gets another offer
LB Cain McWilliams of Lewisburg, TN says he will announce his college decision July 29th. He has offers from USC, Middle Tennessee State, Jacksonville State, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and Tennessee Martin. USC offered him in June at a satellite camp near Nashville and he visited later in the month. He and some of his workout mates who also have USC offers plan to visit USC later this month.
From 247Sports…LB Ellis Brooks of Richmond will visit Auburn Wednesday and camp there Thursday, per his father. Brooks will camp at Georgia Saturday and then visit South Carolina Monday. Brooks, who has 18 offers, has a verbal tender from South Carolina and is getting interest from Auburn and Georgia.
2018 QB Dakereon Joyner of Fort Dorchester plans to visit USC and NC State this month.
2018 DE Xavier Thomas of Wilson was offered Tuesday night by Penn State.
