Recruiting Notes For July 25: Gwyn down to three; Visit makes USC stronger with Sandidge; O’Neal up north
OL Jovaughn Gwyn of Charlotte is down to USC, NC State and Duke. He visited USC Saturday. He has no commitment date yet.
DL Rick Sandidge of Concord, NC said USC will make his top 7 when he drops it soon. He visited Friday and Saturday. A decision is not coming soon as he plans to take official visits in the fall to schools not in his immediate area. Also on his current short list are Ohio State, Michigan, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia Tech, LSU, Florida State, Florida, Georgia and Miami.
Conway DE Raiqwon O’Neal will visit Rutgers Thursday and Maryland Saturday. He was at USC last weekend. Asked what that visit did for the Gamecocks with him, O’Neal said that information was “classified.” He announces August 16th.
