LB Dax Hollifield of Shelby, NC also made his official visit to Virginia Tech over the weekend. That was his fourth official following earlier ones to USC, North Carolina and Florida State. His last official visit will be to Stanford in January. Hollifield is likely to take more unofficial visits to his favorite five as the season continues.
USC target DL Rick Sandidge of Concord, NC also was at Virginia Tech Saturday. He’s also been to USC and North Carolina officially. He plans to release his official visits schedule soon. One that’s for certain is Michigan for the Ohio State game.
2019 DE Curtis Fann (6-3 250) of Twin Cities, GA is building an impressive offer list that right now includes USC, Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, NC State and Florida State. He said USC, Clemson and Auburn are recruiting him hard and like how he’s physical and a good pass rusher. He visited Georgia Tech Saturday and hopes to get to USC, Clemson and Auburn this season. Last summer e camped at USC, Clemson and Georgia. USC was his first offer. He does not have a favorite.
USC offered 2019 RB Chez Mellusi of Naples, FL. Some of his other offers are Notre Dame, Kentucky, Virginia, Michigan, Arizona, Boston College, Southern Cal and Miami.
