SEC commissioner Greg Sankey advocates for end of early signing period

It's an issue for coaches that can be addressed, but of all the issues currently facing college football, this has to be considered minor. Try fixing NIL with rampant tampering and unfulfilled contracts along with the transfer portal fiasco before you go to bat against the early signing period. Kind of like fixing the ingrown toenail while the patient is suffering an ignored heart attack.

Those are legal issues, getting rid of this slows down the wild wild west by giving back some leverage to coaches that can use the you will/could be left out... I think the transfer rule is next...

Exactly really this is a non issue. Address the nil and portal. Where did he get this idea DA. Somebody need to call him out for not addressing the REAL issues
