South Carolina (6-14, 4-12 SEC) opens SEC Tournament action on Thursday versus Ole Miss (15-10, 10-8 SEC) at approximately 9:30 p.m. ET from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.  Tom Hart (play-by-play) and Dane Bradshaw (analyst) will have the call for the SEC Network broadcast, while Derek Scott (play-by-play) and Casey Manning (analyst) will have the call over the air on the Gamecock Radio Network.

Good matchup for us as we are not a lot smaller than them.   Our success will be determined by how well we shoot.

 
Welp... no Cousinard or Bryant (Coach’s decision) and Seventh out too (groin).  TJ Moss gets the start.

I don’t know how this is gonna go.  I don’t like the odds or the matchups.

 
Strange lineups, but we’re keeping it even so far....

Gotta keep Minott, McCreary, and Leveque out of foul trouble to have a chance.

I like the fight tonight.  Our zone switch a few minutes ago looked SO good.  We just play slack for 2 secs and they hit the three.

We’ve looked good except at the glass.  Kept D. Shuler on his heels so far.

 
This game is over.  USC can't score and can't stop OM.  End of season.    

USC's only offense is with Minott and McCreary.  None of the other players can make a shot.   MCCrary is a walking foul.  He can't  play without fouling.  

USC players are really stupid.  Nit wits.

 
Whoever the coach is next season, if he lets Minaya and Moss be on the team, he's insane.  And I  already know that if Frank is the coach, both of those guys will play a lot.

I’m unsure what Frank can do tonight as short-handed as we are.

With no Cousinard and no Bryant, where do the points come from?  Moss isn’t gonna break out, and Minaya’s 0-4 so far.  The bigs have 5, 4, and 4, but none of them are gonna produce 15+ points.

Anderson?  Nelson?  Hannibal?

REALLY disappointed with Cousinard and. Bryant, who aren’t there with their boys tonight.  Don’t know why... don’t really care.

There just has been so much weird crap this year - and it is not just covid. What is Frink's mystery injury? What is going on with Couisnard and Bryant? Attitude? Violation of team rules? Academics?

"Coaches decision" usually means the players have an attitude problem.    Don't know why Frink isn't playing.    Some roster changes are coming.

 
YOu are not going to be competitive when you have to play moss and minaya.   Simple as that.   Neither of them can play basketball.

Rumor is beginning to bubble on campus that it might be a MENTAL health issue.  I’m not trying to build the rumor mill, since I honestly don’t know.  Just trying to address the question.

(and if that’s right, you’ll never know more than just... he’s out for health reasons... because they CAN’T legally say more.)

Minaya just has no confidence with his shot. Good guy and he is solid with everything but his shot.

Use Anderson in place of Minaya, pound inside and let Lawson shot some threes. Go down giving it our best shot.

I wouldn't let anyone on this team take a three.   They can't even make their damn FT.  

 
Well... the lead is gonna expand.  Another 25-30 point loss coming.  This is getting ugly fast. We’re no longer playing decent zone, and even worse man to man D.  Can’t shoot, and giving Ole Miss uncontested rebounds.

What is wrong with this team?  Too much talent to be so bad.

The worst part is your guy Anderson was playing better defense than Minaya, but not shooting.  Now he’s on the bench again.

 
I think this is the worst team Frank has had at USC.   His first team was better than this mess.   To get rid of some of the dead wood on this team probably means you have to fire Frank.    The bad players won't leave on their own.

Remember when I said this?

Anderson and Nelson - zero points.  Hannibal has 6.

without Keyshawn we have no chance.  Just no one to give us offense, unless Minott gives us 15 tonight. (Not gonna happen).
