3 star 6-6 210lbs Sheldon Jeter of Beaver Falls, PA recently tweeted he would make his college announcement May 3rd. But his father said Friday night the decision could come sooner. "We will go to church Sunday and pray about it and go from there," Carliss Jeter said. "We could have something Sunday." The Jeters are at Penn State and will wrap up an official visit with the Nittany Lions Saturday morning. "It's going good," Carliss Jeter said. "They rolled out the red carpet." The elder Jeter said he's been in contact with USC assistant Brad Underwood exchanging text messages with him Thursday. And he says the Gamecocks are a strong player. "He (Sheldon) really likes Coach Martin a whole lot," he said. "But I haven't been pushing him or asking him (about a favorite)."

Jeter now officially on commitment watch

6-6 Sheldon Jeter of Beaver Falls, PA took an official visit to Penn State Thursday thru Saturday and will have a decision this week. USC, Wisconsin and Vanderbilt are the other school schools under consideration. “It’s his decision and he’s going to take a few days to think about it,” Jeter’s father Carliss said Sunday afternoon. “All four schools are in it. He’s talked to all the coaches since he got back home.” Sheldon Jeter has targeted May 3rd for a decision though his father said it could come at any time. Jeter decision set for Thursday

It will be May 3rd for a decision by 6-6 Sheldon Jeter of Beaver Falls, PA his father said Monday night. Carliss Jeter said over the weekend a decision could come early in the week, but now his son plans to stick with his original plan of a May 3rd announcement. That will take place at his school, his father said, at a time to be determined. Sheldon Jeter was on the phone with coaches from his four finalists Monday. He's still considering USC, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and Penn State.

Jeter will play against USC, not with them

6-6 Sheldon Jeter of Beaver Falls, PA announced Thursday night he will play his college basketball in the SEC. Jeter said he will sign with Vanderbilt. He chose the Commodores over SEC rival USC, homestate Penn State and Wisconsin.
