Thornwell has not heard from Martin
4 star 2013 prospect 6-5 180lbs Sindarius Thornwell of Lancaster said Wednesday night he's not yet been contacted by new USC coach Frank Martin. That call will eventually come to the state's top rated prospect in the junior class. Thornwell liked former USC coach Darrin Horn, and he feels Martin was a good hire by the Gamecocks. "He's a good coach," Thornwell said. "He was winning at Kansas State. He's been successful everywhere he's been." Thornwell did talk with former USC assistant Mike Boynton last week and on Tuesday and said Boynton was scheduled to meet with Martin Wednesday. Thornwell is also hearing from Clemson, Tennessee, Miami, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, NC State and Georgia.
