Sizing up the Gamecocks’ 2019 running back targets
Feb.27, 2018
The 2019 South Carolina recruiting class, Muschamp’s fourth group with the Gamecocks, currently includes six commitments, four of whom are committed to play on the offensive side of the ball.
Lt's takes a look at the running back targets who could eventually join them in the Gamecocks’ 2019 haul.
If anything, adding more than one running back with this class will help space out the numbers on the Gamecocks roster.
One would have to assume that Crouch is at the top of South Carolina’s 2019 wish list, although there’s no guarantee that he stays at the position. The Gamecocks will certainly have their work cut out to land him.
Clemson, Michigan and Stanford are among the other candidates he’s seriously considering.
Fortunately for South Carolina, his former teammate at Harding University High School, Jovaughn Gwyn, signed in December.
The Gamecocks are also in good, early position for Dukes, who’s also a standout basketball player. He’ll be back on campus at some point in March.
Gary visited in January and received his offer.
