Smith to get back to USC & Clemson soon

WR OrTre Smith of Wando last visited USC for a spring practice and was last at Clemson at the end of January. According to his mother, they are now working on plans to get back to both later this month.
“We were supposed to go to Clemson tomorrow (Tuesday),” said Smith’s mother Tashia Green. “We’re not going to go there because of schedule conflict. We just got off the phone with Tony Elliott and trying to figure out when we can do it. Maybe the 20th, which will be the next week.”
The plan, according to Ms. Green, would be to visit USC first on that Friday (May 20th) for a couple of hours and then drive up to Clemson for the early afternoon. She said it would be a day trip and they would not be staying over at either school.
Both schools remain in regular contact as her son begins the process of trying to narrow his focus to his schools of strongest interest.
“I think he’s kind of pulling his list together so he can kind of get that going,” Ms. Green said. “Via email and text messages I hear from (USC) every other day. But Tre, someone is always texting him, Muschamp just sending him little things via text or that Instagram thing that they do.”
West Virginia is the most recent offer for Smith. Some of the others are Florida State, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Oklahoma.
