So close to the promised land but yet so far

10-2 Huge blow out of UGA. Disappointing loss to LSU and devastating lose to the Gators. We were so close to playing in the SEC title game we could taste it. All we had to do was Beat Florida and we where in because of the blow beating we gave the DAWGS. Who knows in a head to head match that we might could have taken Bama. Our defense was better than UGA’s. We could have slowed down the Bama running game. Two years in a row we were so close but so far away. We have got to find a way to top this mid season slump. Hopefully next year will be better but we are losing so much on defense. We do have Clowney back and some of the interior line but the linebackers and secondary will be in rebuilding more. Hopefully we just reload and that is what great teams do. We are so close on Offense to dominate the line of scrimmage and be able to run and throw at will on teams. We must take advantage of next seasons schedule just like UGA did the past 2 year. We have the Gators at home. Tenn will be rebuilding again. We have Vandy at home. UGA is going to lose a ton of people to the pros and hopefully Murray will be one of them but he has not really been a factor in us beating them. He has never beaten us. Vandy is on the rise but at home we should be ok. Kentucky will still be rebuilding what they never had in the first place and most likely will never have. Missouri will mostly likely be average. I think only the Gators stand in our way of the EAST title and a trip to Atlanta for the title game and a shot at the NC. Go Cocks lets go win the bowl game and get better in the off season. Get Clowney to add about 10 pounds of muscle and he will be unstoppable and he is just about that now. Hope we get Latti back but it is doubtful. Have not heard anything.

SOS has been doing a marvelous job rallying the troops in this season, after Marcus had his injury, I had doubts on the season finishing strong. Spurrier keeps surprising me.
