There have been several questions recently about the contracts that South Carolina's assistant coaches are on this season. Here's a quick look at where everything stands currently (without potential raises for interim head coach Shawn Elliott or promoted offensive line coach Travelle Wharton).

The contracts for co-defensive coordinators Jon Hoke and Lorenzo Ward are the same. Both have the following:
- Two-year contracts that total $750,000 per year ($400,000 in base salary; $350,000 as media payment)
- Contracts expire January 31, 2017
- If the University terminates the contract without cause, the University shall pay each coach an amount equal to his base salary and his guaranteed media compensation for the remaining term of the contract; provided, however, if Coach accepts new employment, the University's obligation to pay the buyout amount shall be decreased by an amount equal to the compensation earned by Coach from such new employment through the remaining term of the University contract.

For each of the rest of the assistant coaches, contracts expire on January 31, 2016. The salary that each coach is making this year (February 1, 2015-January 31, 2016) is as follows:
- Deke Adams: $320,000
- Kirk Botkin: $320,000
- Grady Brown: $270,000
- Shawn Elliott: $450,000
- G.A. Mangus: $320,000
- Joe Robinson: $375,000
- Everette Sands: $270,000
- Steve Spurrier Jr.: $400,000

Damn, they have some nice yearly income, judging the performance of the team lately they don't even deserve half of those sums
