Dennis Daley commits to South Carolina as a sign-and-place prospect before going on to enroll at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Ga.
June 13, 2015
Will Register (Chapin, S.C.) commits to Spurrier, before what would be his final season as the Gamecocks head coach.
Oct. 13, 2015
Spurrier announces resignation.
Dec. 7, 2015
Will Muschamp is hired as the next full-time head coach.
Dec. 23, 2015
Defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw (Goose Creek, S.C.) commits to South Carolina, but will leave high school early, to begin an accelerated junior college track at Jones County in Mississippi.
March 1, 2016
Junior college wide receiver Stephen Guidry (Morganza, La.) becomes first prospect to commit to Muschamp’s staff at South Carolina.
March 19, 2016
Three-star offensive lineman Summie Carlay (Laurens, S.C.) commits.
March 24, 2016
Four-star quarterback Jake Bentley (Opelika, Ala.) commits.
April 2, 2016
Three-star offensive tackle Eric Douglas (Charlotte, N.C.) and 3-star defensive end Tyreek Johnson (Sumter, S.C.) commit.
April 6, 2016
Bentley announces that he will reclassify and graduate early from high school so he can enroll at South Carolina in time for the 2016 season.
April 21, 2016
Three-star quarterback Jay Urich (Piedmont, S.C.) is offered.
