South Carolina set to host legacy lineman

June 10,2016

Earlier this month, South Carolina offered 2018 offensive lineman Warren Ericson.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound prospect from North Gwinnett High School (Duluth, Ga.) will visit be in Columbia for another visit to the school.

Ericson has two brothers in Columbia. One is in medical school at South Carolina. Another is on the soccer team.

Several SEC schools have offered, including Florida, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Louisville. South Carolina pulled the trigger earlier this month.

Linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler relayed the word.

“He asked me about my brother who plays soccer at the university and my other brother who is in med school and how he can’t wait to get me to visit,” Ericson said.

He’ll head to Columbia on Saturday for South Carolina’s lineman camp.

“The school is filled with great traditions and when I camped last year I got to work with coach (ShawnElliott … I like his coaching style,” Ericson said

Hope he will like us
