They sent out a "short" survey yesterday to get a feel for what fans may want.
It covered all kinds of options, Seating, on field suites, luxury and premium Suites, parking, family events, family area, Concessions, private bathrooms, Demographics. etc…what you’d be willing to pay and if you’d donate to the cause.
It was not really short. Had all kinds of questions.
Had a couple things I thought might be good ideas and a couple things that sounded way too expensive.
I really like the idea of one option of closing in the North endzone. That will help make it louder.
I really like the idea of seat backs but that would seem to just reduce the crowd size.
One idea of "door dash" like concessions, i.e. call for delivery sounded neat. I am just glad they had so many ideas and they wanted to know what some of the fans felt. But it is not like whoever gets all that property to build on is just going to make all these improvements in WB for free.
They were asking if you would pay $2 -$10K for season tickets in a suite. Some people in those private suites may already pay that, but I just don't have that kind of money. Suites are not for me. And I do not see suites adding a whole lot of people, but maybe more people want that. They all seem to stay full and have long waiting list to get in them.
I was hoping when they do the improvements, it would make the stadium better without costing us regular fans more. I go to the stadium to watch the game live. I don't need a suite with fancy buffet style food bars.
With things changing where schools might be able to add to the NIL money, they need to find ways to make more money.
