I'm watching the Roll Tide/War Eagle special on ESPN. Obviously the characteristics of our rivalry is close to theirs, but when you hear about it from the Bama side a defining moment is Bear and his Houndstooth fedora. I don't need to go into the similarities of what Bear did for Bama and what Spurrier is currently doing for us, but if a teams entire history can be changed by one man (as happened in Bama) who's to say that man isn't Spurrier and his visor?

It's different in my opinion. SOS has changed things, but he got here too late in his career to be a Bryant. He's UF's Bryant. For us SOS is the guy that put us on the right path. It will be up to the next guy to build on and sustain what SOS has done.
