TE Kyle Oliver (6-5 230) of Jones County JC, MS will take an unofficial visit to USC Sunday according to TheBigSpur. Oliver is from Murfreesboro, TN and signed last year with Tennessee. He enrolled there this summer then left for the junior college. He’s a mid-year transfer.

DE Jonathan Kongbo of Arizona Western JC was offered by USC last week and said he has real interest. “I like them a lot. (Jadeveon) Clowney is my favorite player. South Carolina was one of my favorite schools coming out of high school.” Kongbo committed to Tennessee November 29th after an official visit. He’s also been officially to Oregon State and Ole Miss and is scheduled to visit Alabama January 16th.

WR Samuel Denmark of Hanahan wrapped up a shortened official visit to USC Saturday so that he could report for the Shrine Bowl in Spartanburg. Denmark arrived on campus Friday afternoon. He has been committed to Virginia Tech and remains so at this point.

WR Nate Johnson of Thompson’s Station, TN said he’s not heard from USC since Will Muschamp was hired. Johnson was offered in late November by the previous staff and current assistant Shawn Elliott scouted him in his state championship game where he had three catches for 53 yards and two touchdowns. He has official visits in January set with Miami, Northwestern and Vanderbilt. Michigan and Penn State were in to see him this month.
