Tank Robinson
DB Tank Robinson of Lake Marion was at USC’s game with East Carolina a few weeks ago, and he also attended Clemson’s game with Louisville last weekend. Robinson said coaches from both schools continue to recruit  him and both schools still want him as a safety.

“Their defense, they played pretty well,” Robinson said of the Gamecocks.  “I was watching their safeties and I saw that they had multiple DBs on the field.  And the coaches were really into the game.  They were saying they wished they had me out on the field.”

Robinson said he hears from USC defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson once a week and he’s looking to return to USC for the Tennessee game later in the season.

Robinson was one of the many high profile recruits at Clemson last Saturday night and he got fully exposed to the big game climate in Death Valley.

“That was a crazy atmosphere,” Robinson said.  “It was real loud.  I enjoyed myself up there.  I talked to Coach Hobby, Coach Reed and Coach Swinney.  They said they wished they had me out there making plays.  They said they are waiting for me.”

Robinson said he also plans to get to games at NC State, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.  And he said Notre Dame has been on him strongly of late and wants him to visit.  He’s working on an official visit with the Irish.  He’s undecided on other official visits.   Robinson said he does not have a favorite at this point.

Robinson said he has 56 tackles this season and he’s also playing a good bit on offense at receiver.
