Targets in the Under Armour game
Dec. 29, 2016
The Under Armour All-American Game on Sunday is a great chance to see Carolina commitment Jamyest Williams shine before he (fingers crossed) arrives in Columbia next spring.
Aside from Williams, the Gamecocks have several targets taking the field Sunday.
From Garnet and Black Attack:
“The big name is 4-star offensive lineman Tony Gray, Williams’ teammate at Grayson High School in Georgia. Gray confirmed to SB Nation recruiting guru Bud Elliott that South Carolina was “in the mix” for an official visit in January before a final decision at some point before National Signing Day,” writes GABA’s Sydney Hunte. “Another name to watch is Tucker (Ga.) DE Aaron Sterling, who has the Gamecocks in his top 4 along with Georgia, N.C. State and Tennessee.”
As it stands today, the Gamecocks are in prime position to sign a great class in 2017. Sign Gray and/or Sterling and Muschamp is likely bringing a top-10 class to Columbia.
