TE Jacob August from Cardinal Newman now at Fork Union

Has been offered a scholarship to Temple and a preferred walk on at UGA and Penn St. and has been trying to get the attention of the USC coaches even as a walk on. Is a Gamecock from a little kid on, he loves the Gamecocks. He was about 6-2 WR at Cardinal Newman until his Senior year. Jacob August 6-6 245 and would love to be a Gamecock, but Penn State has really been on him as they only have 10 ships to give and are looking for solid walk ons. This kid has grown a lot in the last year and has improved a ton in his short time at Fork Union. I sure wish our coaches would give him a shot. Big Solid target with good hands. No one knew anything about him out of Cardinal Newman. He went to FU not because of grades just to get some exposure. Never went to any camps. Kid punts pretty good too.
