The Beamer White/Loggains/Elliott/Sellers/Stewert Era has begun...

I promised to eat my hat if we won 7 games. Too bad it was elsewhere.

The chemistry is flowing.
The wager was I would eat my hat if we won 7 games. We’ve won 8 now so I don’t have to ruin my dinner. I want everyone to know I would have honored the bet, but the facts are the facts.

Ill eat my hat if we hang half a hunderd on Clemson!

We're a great team that nobody really wants to play right now.

Beat Clemson and we're in the CFPs. Earn it.

The last 5 games for Sellers 87/108 1317yds 13TD/2int. 68CAR 270yds 5TD. 5-0

Rattler 117-174 1350 yds 8TD/3int. 40CAR 99yds 2TD. 3-2
PASSING STATS
Sellers YPP 12.19 Rattler 7.76
YPCatch 15.13 11.54

RUSHING STATS
Per carry 3.97 2.47
Result 5-0 3-2
Who 4 ranked teams & Wofford 1 ranked team & Jack. St.

YEARS PLAYING
Sellers 2nd year / RS 5th year / RS

I get it. People love Rattler.
I just think Sellers is going to be a better QB. In his first year as a starter, he is already having better stats with less INT's. But he does have a better O-line. It just helps the way he avoids tackles and still has some huge passes after doing so.

Superman doesn't like to give up on plays, he had to learn to not get hurt, to trust others, to throw it away, to pick moments to put on a cape and moments to just keep the Clark Kent suit on and doing that without getting happy feet, doing that and keeping confident, to still feel Bullet proof is the hardest part of coaching a QB imo... Maximizing athleticism with raw talent and IQ in a short period is a OC/QB Coaches thin line...You overwhelm and push them to fast they develop habits you will never correct, sometimes you have no choice but if you do... Sellers could be the greatest to put the Garnet and Black on after all is said and done, lot of football to play my friend, BEAT CLEMSON!! GO COCKS!!

This is the first year for radios in the QB's helmet.

Dowell is letting LaNorris know what's coming early enough that it calms him down. LaNorris can also correct things if the wrong play is signaled in from the sidelines.

The other thing is Sellers has been running for his life enough this season that he knows when to take off. That is both good and bad. People blow past our OL way too much this year, but LaNorris has the instinct and speed to overcome it. It is what it is.

I believe we will beat Clemson with our run game this year because of Elliott.

I watched a Podcast with Doty and Sellers, LaNorris and Doty talked about going against our defense. Sellers mentioned getting a cheat code from Coach White for the I think they said We'd 1st team battles, he stated Coach White tells him how he is going to play him based on how he watched him play last week- 🙄 that's some chess versus checkers... this allows him to see how a DC, defender is going to try and counter him...
But you are right, sometimes Superman just puts on a cape...

That's a good point. He has to practice against one of the best defenses in the nation, too, and that certainly helps. Just like Dawn's girls no longer practice against Kamilla, so that hurts them against a team that has a dominant paint player like her this year.

9-3 with visions of the CFP still dancing in fans heads... maybe Liberty Coach Chadwell can visit our staff and take some notes from our OC.

Tell me Beamer and his staff don't make adjustments after the last 2 seasons and how they ended, tell me this staff doesn't make adjustments, players better or make good calls now that the season is over...

Tell me you think the OC or any coach should be fired now that the season is over and what you were trying to run off after a mediocre win in Norman, Ok...

While your at it tell Juice Wells 😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂😂😂😅😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣

GO GAMECOCKS!!!

This season has exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Still not a loggins fan, sellers has bailed out a lot of bad play calls with raw talent. Clemson was stacking 8-9 in the box and he kept trying to run it up the center. There really needs to be changes made at Oline, and I think the season outcome saved loggins for another season.

So get rid of the guy that has brought the greatest OLINE talent we have ever recruited... or brought together?
6 wins in a row, the most since 2013 and you want to change things, improve or fix what's not broke... FANATATICAL!!!! I love it, GO COCKS!
I'm sure Loggins called that fumble and that Int, you take Clark Kent with Superman... they make coaches famous!

The Lattimore jersey for nostalgia fans... One of the Greatest Fighting Gamecocks God ever grace the great state of SC with!! GO COCKS!! BEAT clemSON!!

I'm curious if any clemson fans you know were real loud today...Go Cocks!! Beat clemson!!
“And I brought my own caboose from home”. 🤣🤣🤣

Sellers won that game much more than a Loggains game plan did but it was a well called game from my perspective. Same for the OL play which is still mediocre and probably gave up 6 sacks yesterday with any other QB. CU OL protected much better than ours did. Loggains won’t be fired and shouldn’t. Heck his ability to get them to execute the screen play that we struggled with for decades should get him an extension.

Clemson had some of the biggest DL we have seen all year and I think Loggains just gave LaNorris carte blanche to take off when it felt right.

Sellers had a confident look on his face the whole game like Dowell was telling him it was okay to run despite the called plays. I do think LaNorris should stay here for two more years with a better OL to hone his passing skills.

This is also closer to the same offense Elliott ran successfully at Ga. State and closer to what most HS programs run as well. It works pretty good if Sellers has his escape routes if needed. I really think Loggains is sucking the DL in on purpose to give LaNorris the edge to take advantage of on the ground.

My only complaint with the play calling is I wish they would have called more roll outs for Sellers. Once they could see that the line couldn't hold a pocket, call some RPO's that involved roll outs. Try something different. And for the love of Pete, every drop back pass should have a designated safety valve for Sellers to quick pass to.

5 step drops that require multiple reads with an oline that can’t protect is a strange concept. Clemson effectively neutralized the pass rush because their qb was getting the ball out so fast.

I agree but that also limits his scrambling ability to the roll out side.
