The Gamecocks’ haul has 18 members, though that figure doesn’t include the lone holdover from the 2017 class — defensive end Tyreek Johnson — who will arrive in January as a grayshirt.

Nationally, South Carolina’s class is ranked by the 247Sports composite as No. 23. Among teams from the SEC, the Gamecocks are eighth.
