The latest on South Carolina commitment Jordan Rhodes

Jan. 25, 2017

South Carolina offensive tackle commitment Jordan Rhodes is 100 percent with his pledge to the Gamecocks.

The 3-star prospect from Creekside High School (Fairburn, Ga.) said so on Sunday night, after his official visit to Mississippi State.

At the time, he was still planning to take an official visit to Missouri, on the final weekend before signing day.

That’s no longer the case.

According to Creekside offensive line coach Webster Bumpers, Rhodes is “100 percent South Carolina.” Bumpers added that Rhodes is “not taking anymore trips or in-home visits” from other coaches.

Coming off the official visit to Mississippi State, Rhodes wanted to make his decision final on signing day. Now, it appears that he’s locked in on South Carolina.

“South Carolina, they have one of the best academic programs,” Rhodes said. “I just love being there and being able to connect with the Gamecock family.”

The Gamecocks have three offensive line commitments to their 2017 class, to go along with Summie Carlay, who enrolled in January. Dennis Daley and Eric Douglas are also firm with their commitments.

Excellent, now let's coach'em up!
