The top recruits who will be attending Will Muschamp Football Camp

May 29, 2017

Muschamp Camp Day 1

Saturday will be the first of 10 Will Muschamp Football Camp sessions, and there will be plenty of notable recruits on campus working out and visiting with South Carolina coaches.

Fast-rising 2018 safety target RJ Roderick (Summerville, S.C.) has landed offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Wake Forest since he visited for the SpursUp recruiting event. Clemson is now evaluating him as a running back.

In addition to camping at the ACC schools, Roderick also will camp at Georgia.

Several of the top performers from the EPT Showcase will join him, including 2020 quarterback Luke Doty (Myrtle Beach, S.C.), 2019 running back Kendrell Flowers (Columbia, S.C.), 2018 defensive end Trajan Jeffcoat. All three have a shot to earn offers from the Gamecocks on Saturday.

Fellow EPT participant Quendarius Jefferson, a 2019 wide receiver from Simpsonville, S.C., also will be in attendance. He was offered by the Gamecocks while on campus for the SpursUp recruiting event.

Rising sophomore running back Jordon Simmons (Powder Springs, Ga.) has offers from South Carolina and Georgia. He’ll visit the campus and work out with running backs coach Bobby Bentley.

The South Carolina coaches also will host a specialists camp on Saturday. However, kicker BT Potter, who’s from Rock Hill, S.C., will attend a camp at Florida.

After a couple of days off, Muschamp Camp will resume on June 7. Below are the confirmed visitors and camp participants during the month of June

2019 running back Jonathan Alexander (Roebuck, S.C.)
