All I ask please no F-Bombs OK no need to attack others and when talking about the program just get to the point no name calling..

Good morning Crew, well  hate to say this but we are looking at 4-7 in Booms 5th year been all down hill just like when he was at Florida. Not a sunshine pumper and never been. Sometimes it seems fans are negative but they speak the truth at times and that is needed here now.  Power to truth old saying if ain't broken don't fix it. It is broken and needs fixing fast.  My answer here I know will cause some to react negative towards me, But I can take it.

Going to be frank and to the point here. Should buy out the 20M. fire Tanner and Muschamp. It is time to realize the experiment with Tanner has not worked out. His laundry list speaks for it's self. He has caused us to have to buy out a coach to the tune of 20M. Muschamp should be fired at the end of season and get a AD that knows football and hire him to find a coach.  This is the best you are going to get out of Muschamp.

Let me throw this stat out.  27 carries for 21 yards No push on the line of scrimmage, no runs outside the hashes.

We are not creative on offense. Whatever thoughts the coaches had about our OL blowing their line  off the ball to establish a run game should have been changed in the second half but we continued to run up the middle.

App state even went conservative on offense and we still could only manage one TD. Muschamp and his staff need to take a hard look in the mirror.

This team and staff are bad.   Next year could be worse.  Not optimistic for any impactful  coaching changes nor any game changing players.  Lose our best player on O and D.  Outside the stadium pre game there were visiting fans everywhere.   In the stadium they were vocal.   ASU fans came expecting to win and their team played to win.  ASU set the tone early by coming out mid way thru the 2001 entrance.   They were ready and well coached.   The better team won.

Brad Scott 2.0

Most of us feared this was coming when WM was hired.

We would probably be the 4th or 5th best team in the state of NC.   In football.  Let that sink in.   Bottom tier ACC if in that conf.   Mid pack in the Sun Belt.   Wish we could form a conference with Arkansas and Maryland and just play them every other week.   Clemson scored 55 against NCST.   We couldn’t score 55 agains thin air the way we played last night.

This is just bad. I was no the ‘give Muschamp 2 more years’ train. But now not so sure.
I was willing to give him year or two like you, but last nights sealed the deal with me. What I saw last night to me were for the most part coaching issues from beginning to end. It is time for change. Should go ahead and give him his 20M if he stays will lose maybe even more in revenue that the school would bring in. Honestly you think the big donors will hold back some money with this kind of on field play. Either way you lose in the pocket book maybe more if we stick with Boom. So cut a check  let him go then do something with Tanner at the same time.

The Brad Scott 2.0 moniker appears to be spot on. Toward the end, Scott lost all clue - had no idea how to fix any of the problems his team had and eventually lost the players. If Muschamp gets another year (he will), it now seems possible he could have his own 1-11 season in year 5 just like Scott did (1-10 in those days). It certainly doesn't seem impossible.

I see no reason to think we can be any better in 2020 than we are right now.

App State had a simple game plan, Stack the box and force the QB to beat them. Our usage of quick slant passes will not win games against teams who have studied our tapes. We have and recruited RPO personnel but refuse to develop a scheme that fits them. Quick slants don't work so well and will get WRs injured if the QB is not a threat to run. The DBs will tee off on the Wrs, which is why we find ourselves thin at that position.

If we want to run Pro Style, we need to run it and throw the ball down the field. The plays with Joyner in the game are wasted plays because the defense knows that it's run, so why do that bullshit. Also, he is not a WR, so that 's another waste. Y'all ready for Chump to be shown the door yet?

Our refusal to adjust from running the ball up the middle shows how lost our coaching staff is. You have to try to throw the ball down the field even if you have terrible WRs. Just to make the D think you will do it. And you may grab some PI calls. But no, we ran and threw 2-5 yards every play. The D can put all 11 in that area.

I started worrying when we failed twice to convert on fourth-and-one plays vs Vandy. Our Oline got manhandled again last night. Didn't help that our play calling and game planning was atrocious.

Time to clean house... coaching staff for sure should be done and Ray should be gone too. Total makeover for Carolina football. Go hire someone like Mike Norvell and let him build his staff. Also need an AD who can get shit done.

I still think year 4 is too soon to can a coach, but Muschamp hasn't done himself any favors this season. We should have won each of the games we've lost except for the Bama game. App State never should have even been in the game, but here we are looking at another inexplicable and unacceptable loss to a team from the fricken Sun Belt conference, and we looked like we didn't even belong on the same field as them. To me, this is worse than the Citidel loss, because at least that game involved us playing a triple option team. There was no gimmicky scheme to defend last night.

I said something similar earlier this year, and it bears repeating. It is time for a "come to jesus" meeting with Muschamp. I have long suspected that something like that happened with Dabo up in tater town. They were in a situation where they could not afford to get rid of him, so somebody took control from him and put the best assistants around him to manage the actual coaching part. (Once again, just conjecture on my part.) The same thing needs to happen with Muschamp. He needs to be made a figurehead until either the team starts winning or he can be replaced.

And once it is time for him to be shown the door, we need to stop pussyfooting around with these coaching hires. No AARP members, and no up and comers. We need to find somebody who is winning somewhere with few resources and give him an offer he cannot refuse. Between now and then, we need a wholesale mindset from everyone with any kind of pull within the university to win at all costs.

...but it didn't just start this season.

Muschamp had all the motivation in the offseason from the 28-0 debacle and instead laid an egg to start the season.

He simply can't make it happen. Another year only extends the misery.

We are now Gamehens....we lay eggs.

Wake Forest. That guy has taken Wake to 7-2 not bad. Also his resume everywhere he has been he has year to year improved the teams standing.
