Just say what you feel and no need to attach anyone who does not agree everybody has opinions of there own.  Truth be said Gamecocks are 4-4 with 4 to go. Think most are saying can any off them be won? answer now would be no for most of us would say no. Be it coaching, players or others in charge be far and honest. Could be a simple change like a new QB like Brown who knows. Players, coaches and fans are feeling  pretty low at this point. Gamecocks do have week off before facing Florida at home then on the road to Mizzu.

This game is what I closely predicted 42-10. it is 44-14. It's just the way it happen so fast, thought the Gamecocks would show little more life on offense. but just showed how bad the offense is and seems to have showed it's head on defense as well. very questionable coaching all season long as well. Has been a team effort of ugly' s.  So vent away.

Meh...this game and the season have gone pretty much as I expected.  Wouldn't mind seeing Brown get the start against UF though.

I feel, to feed the sharks and Gatos's Satterfield will have to be sacrificed here at seasons end.

Not ready to fire anyone yet.  We are playing what is essentially a walk on quarterback.  Champ was a qb killer and left us with what amounted to 2 true freshman the better of which has been injured all season.  I though 4-5 wins would be the max and did not and still don’t see a path to 6 wins.  Teams have recognized that we don’t have the ability to deliver the ball downfield, loaded up to stop the run and dared us to beat them over the top.  We need better receivers and someone who can push the ball deep.  I don’t think play calling is the issue as much as how we are limited in what we can make a defense do when they play us.

Let's see........  for starters, we can't even hike the damn ball!  How pathetic is that?!  Every offensive play starts with that and us not even being able to do that with regularity, is scary, pathetic, sad, inexcusable.......  No one seems to be able to block or even get in the way of the defense so that means we also can't run or effectively throw the ball with little to no time to do so.  Our OC really likes to call up the middle a ton and we never get squat.  He seemingly has no imagination and with everything we lack, we have to do something a bit different than most teams just to try to advance the ball.  All of this is pretty basic stuff and we can't even do them so it definitely looks like we have years more to go before we are remotely competitive with teams that have a pulse.  For now, we are right there with the Vandy's of the world.  Got a long haul in front of us folks!!

^ This - Before the season, I think most folks thought 4-6 wins is the best we could do. And that's right where we will end up. Not sure what people expected. For beamer to walk in and turn this around instantly. He doesn't even have a full recruiting class in yet.

Recruiting is going to be the issue for the next 2 years minimum.  We can definitely sell the play now..  Will who we have take the necessary steps forward, we can only hope so.  Thought we needed to keep some stability with the present coaches but not sure of that anymore.  Hopefully CSB can assess coaching talent as well as future players.  Hope  he's HC material.  Gonna take time and a lot patience from the fans.

Times are changing good players are not scared they will get playing time. If they fail just go to the portal and transfer out. Different times. So Gamecock best bet is to find the portal players and get the best leftovers. Going to be a tuff sell here. We are in the sparky and brad decade coaching circle for now.  I guess the new battle cry will be play Brown now. Seems the best is always the back-up. Good old days are back. been there done it over and over. All for stability here with the right hires. Wish for that day. Well be looking for a new coach shortly. grass is always greener with a new coach. Not really very frustrating.

I think it is time to look to the future and let some young guys get playing time.  This season is clearly not going anywhere.  If Brown is close or Gauthier get them out there and let them get experience.  You can see by what Bama did to Tennessee that we are nowhere close to being competitive with the middle of the pack in the SEC.

This season has been a long, long (long) learning process for Shane in his first year as HC. One thing I will say about Shane is that I think he is smart - I think he will learn, and I think he will do better if we give him time. This is painful football to watch. Can we recruit better players after a season like this? That remains to be seen. Can he learn from his mistakes? Does he have it in him to fire a friend? I have never looked at a box score before and seen us with 10 yards of offense the way we had at one point in the fourth quarter. It was scary bad. Another issue I see looming: how many of our good players will look at this season and hit the portal?

South Carolina finished the night with 185 yards, but don’t let that fool you. Almost 92% of those came in the final quarter. The Gamecocks only managed two first downs one of which came via penalty  through the game’s first 45 minutes. They didn’t even record a third down conversion until six minutes were gone in the fourth quarter. “They were definitely heating us up, but then they were also sacking us when they were rushing four as well and not having to bring pressure,” Beamer said. “We’ve got to be able to block. We’re SEC football players, too. We’re an SEC football team. We’ve got to be able to block guys when they bring four.” Beamer has largely avoided questions about offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield’s play-calling, and rightfully so. What head coach is going to march into a press conference and throw one of his assistants under the bus publicly? Yet against a Texas A&M defense that was in the middle of the pack defensively in the SEC entering the matchup, South Carolina looked closer to a Mid-American Conference team than a squad based out of college football’s almighty league of champions.

I can’t get over how undisciplined we play. 8 games in and we still struggle. I don’t know what the solution is but that’s a sign of a truly bad football team.

I agree TKE226.  We play undisciplined, sloppy ball.  After 8 games, I don't understand this problem.  We have enough talent to at least compete with teams - even if we lose by 20 points.  We barely look competitive on the field.  No way our talent is that bad. Some of this has to be coaching.  I am not looking to fire anyone, but Shane will need to evaluate the staff to see if changes need to be made.  If we look anything like this next year, I don't see Shane lasting.

NIL will kill us getting talent. Just make the few richer. Just do not have the market and money. Something going to have to deal with. Going to be smi pro college teams.

To hold on to fan base has to but that is up to Beaner and Tanners wallet.

NIL would be like me trying to complete with thespur and GCC. Lol no funds or talent.

It is what it is.  I did not expect any kind of quick turnaround.  Even the game announcers pointed out that Muschump had been fired from other jobs. The new regime will need 3-5 years to right the ship.  That was still a full load if crap last night though.
