Richland Northeast LB TJ Brunson made an unofficial visit to Notre Dame for the Irish’s season opening win over Texas. “It

was impressive,” Brunson said. “The atmosphere was very different compared to other games I’ve been to. Everyone was into the game.” Brunson does not yet have a Notre Dame offer but feels one could come later in the season. “They are going to evaluate my first three games after they play Virginia. It could come then or later in the season I guess.” Brunson said he might go to USC’s game Saturday against Kentucky. He remains committed to Louisville at this point.

DB Stephen Davis Jr. of Dutch Fork announced a decommitment from Auburn Sunday. “After thinking a lot I have just decided to open my recruitment back up and de-commit from Auburn,” Davis wrote on Twitter. He committed to Auburn in August of 2014. Some of his other offers at that time were Clemson, USC, Missouri, North Carolina, Georgia, Notre Dame, Florida, Tennessee, UCLA and Florida State.
