USC basketball coaches were scheduled to visit Oak Hill Academy, VA Sunday to see 6-5 Sindarius Thornwell and 6-6 Troy Williams. Both players were also to meet with North Carolina Sunday. Monday Ohio State was to visit with both while Williams also planned to sit down with Indiana and Arkansas. Georgia is set to visit Thornwell Friday. Williams has visits set this week from LSU, Louisville and Alabama. Clemson is also expected in to visit with Thornwell this week.
6-3 Aaron Scott of Richland Northeast committed to Appalachian State over the weekend. He also had offers from Wofford, Presbyterian, Furman, Charleston Southern, Hofstra and Murray State
6-3 Tre Smith of Hillcrest committed Monday to Charleston Southern. He picked the Bucs over Coastal Carolina, Presbyterian and Mercer.
