Two decisions impacting USC coming Saturday

Two prospects with USC interest will make their college plans known on Saturday. Well, actually DL Kobe Smith (6-4 295) of Lawrenceville, GA doesn’t plan to make an announcement. He just plans to show up at either USC or Kentucky and enroll for classes.
Since decommitting from Kentucky last month, Smith has had next to nothing to say about his thinking.
Also Saturday Shrine Bowl WR Chavis Dawkins (6-2 195) of Byrnes will hold a 4:00 PM gathering at his home in Moore to announce his future plans.
USC has been in play with him along with NC State, Appalachian State, Wake Forest and Louisville.
Dawkins had 65 catches for 1251 yards and 6 touchdowns this season. And he led South Carolina in receiving in the Shrine Bowl with 6 catches for 62 yards and 2 touchdowns.
