(WLTX) --- A watch list by a national website has put out a watch list of 18 players who should be considered candidates for the highest individual honor for college football.
Heismanpundit.com has put USC rising junior Marcus Lattimore on the list, which should not be considered a surprise given his statistics for his first two seasons. However, staying healthy will be imperative for Lattimore who missed the second half of the 2011 season with a knee injury.
The two Tigers on the list are quarteback Tajh Boyd and receiver Sammy Watkins.
Clemson is one of three schools with two candidates apiece according to the website. The others are West Virginia and Arkansas. Boyd and Watkins are the only ACC players on the list.
Lattimore was one of six players from the SEC on the list.
