TJ Moore
USC offensive line coach Shawn Elliott already has a commitment from one of North Carolina’s best offensive line prospects in Eric Douglas of Mallard Creek in Charlotte.  He’s hoping to double his pleasure from the school by adding  OL TJ Moore (6-6 290).  Moore was, at one time, a USC lean, but now he says he’s open with no favorite and no short list.

Moore was at the USC cookout in late April and was given a lot of attention by Elliott.  And the Gamecock recruiter was by the school Monday to check in on his guys and to let Moore know thru his coaches that he’s still wanted.

“I’m either going to play right guard or right tackle in college they’re telling me how both of them are juniors and I can come down there and play early,” Moore said.  “I don’t have any top favorite schools right now but I do like the way Coach Elliott keeps in touch with me.  He talks to me every day and texts me.  I don’t really have any favorites right now but I do like them.”

Clemson also remains interested in Moore and recruiter Danny Pearman was by a couple of weeks ago.  Moore said he wants him to come to camp this summer and he plans to oblige.

Douglas said he also will make a return visit to USC this summer and will also see Tennessee, Florida State, Alabama, Notre Dame and possibly Oregon.

And Elliott is now the only recruiter pushing the Gamecocks on Moore.  His teammate, Douglas, is doing his best to convince him to join him in Columbia.

“Every day, every day he’s asking me if I’m coming,” Moore said.  “Every day.”

Moore said he wants to take some official visits this fall before he makes his final decision.
