There will be a team send-off for the South Carolina baseball team on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Carolina Stadium in the team parking lot before the Gamecock squad departs for Omaha, Neb. Fans are encouraged to arrive at 10 a.m. The VIP lot will be closed to public parking and fans are encouraged to park in Lot 1 located on Williams Street (grass lot by Williams and Blossom street). Head coach Ray Tanner will address the fans before the team’s departure. South Carolina begins play at the 2012 College World Series on Saturday, June 16 against Florida at 9 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN.
