This last game of the series should be pretty fun now that the team has no illusions or pressure connected with a post season.

We avoided the sweep with a 9-4 win. Several player hit well in this game. Burgess with a grand slam. Good to win again.

The win speaks volumes about the "never give up" spirit of this team this year.

In another ballpark without the goofy winds, we would have won Game 2.

Bad pitching has killed us, but it's made our hitting better because that's been the only way to win some of our games.

I think both the UK and UF series are winnable, but the two OOC games that would ordinarily be confidence booster will tax our bullpen if Austin and Becker have to used for too much work in those two games.
