USC commitment Jackson pondering other visits

South Carolina commit CB Tavyn Jackson of Tallahassee, FL has recently been planning to visit other schools, but is unsure if he will at this point. Jackson said he is considering visiting Oregon State, USF and Indiana because he never gotten a chance to see their campuses in person.
“I’ve been talking to them for a while,” Jackson said. “I just want to see the campuses, like, some of those places I can’t go by myself. I don’t have the transportation or things that I need to go so it’ll be a pleasure to actually see it.”
Jackson still frequently communicates with USC head coach Will Muschamp, linebackers coach Mike Peterson and defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson.
“Whenever I text (Muschamp), he texts back in a couple of minutes,” Jackson said. “I just had coach Peterson text me yesterday and ask me about the game tomorrow, so they all check up on my frequently.”
According to Jackson, Muschamp is”fine” with him visiting other campuses. However, he told Jackson he has a job to do and will go shopping if Jackson goes shopping.
As for the other schools involved, Jackson hasn’t talked with any coaches at Oregon State since he received his official offer. He keeps in touch with the coaches at Indiana frequently and knows he can take an official visit there if he wants.
Jackson said he is undoubtedly going to visit South Carolina soon.
