USC hoops lands fourth new player
The USC basketball team picked up its fourth new player Friday when 6-3 point guard Tarik Phillip committed to the Gamecocks. Phillip is a native of Brooklyn, New York and is attending prep school in Charlotte.
Phillip joins center Laimonas Chatkevicius , Thaddeus Hall and forward Minda Kacinas as the newest additions to Frank Martin’s team.
Phillip averaged 26 points and seven assist per game last season.
