4 star OL Kareem Are 6'6" 320lbs of Fort Scott JC, KS made his official visit to USC over the weekend and found himself caught up in the Gamecock fever. "It was the loudest stadium I've been in yet," Are said. "It was a real good visit. I met with the offensive line coach and met most of the offensive lineman. He (Shawn Elliott) showed me how I could compete and fit in and that's what I want. And they have great facilities." Are also has taken official visits to Florida State and Penn State. He is considering a visit to Ole Miss and his Ole Miss recruiter is going to visit with him Tuesday. He'll decide after that if he'll visit Oxford. "I've just got a lot of school work to take care and I need to focus on that," he said. USC recruiter Grady Brown also plans to visit with Are and his teammate, Gamecock commitment DL Abu Lamin, on Tuesday. Are said he is looking at making his decision on or by December 9th. Among the three schools he's visiteed, Are said there is no favorite at this point.
