The graphic said we are tied with Depaul for fewest games played with 7 - 2 less than any other team.

It seems like we are snakebit under Frank. Key injuries, lackluster early play, a close loss at the wrong time.....

Even this year, we have played with a skeleton team when we have played.
How true wish Frank grow his hair back. Got the wrong shape head for a skin head. But anyhow win would be great and getting healthy and staying there.

I thought we'd be much improved with Seventh Woods...he has been very pedestrian so far this season.  Oh well.

On a brighter note... Leveque has looked pretty good.  Smart defense, no senseless fouls that have plagued our bigs for years, and making more of his shots these days (though still missing a few).  Given how much he’s having to go it alone (with no backup), I’m impressed.

Gonna take a reset at the half.  We’re trading shot for shot at this point.  We get a chance to climb back in, getting it below 11 point difference and give up a three every time.

Just about ZERO defense being played by either team right now.  This is a terrible display of basketball, with only the Sherief show to keep it interesting.

Auburn hitting a high % of 3s and FTs.  We aren't terrible offensively but our defense isn't good.  Down 2 touchdowns at the half

I guess the fortunate thing is we don’t have anyone with more than 2 fouls at the half.  That’s pretty atypical of us this season.  Gives us more legs available (particularly at the PG position) as we get deeper into the 2nd half.

Cousinard with 8 at the half Is also a helpful sign.  Key has to step it up and put on another 20 point performance. 😉

I said it before, but the lack of PT is most evident on the defensive end. We have never been a great offensive team but we have beeen great on Defense at times - do that and rebound, and you will win a lot of games.
Yeah, the rebounding and defensive pressure just aren’t there right now.  There are SOME guys doing it.  Just not all 5 at the same time.

Leveque and Seventh are starters - and we get a COMBINED 9 points per game from them.

Leveque has given up three more baskets inside since my last critical comment.
He’s also getting ZERO help sealing, so he’s facing an uphill battle to keep the ball in front of him.  But you’re right to be critical.  He’s playing smart, but smart doesn’t keep points off the board.

We need to get Frink and McCreary back, then open up all of the starting spots.

We have a coupla guys that have not played - a smaller transfer PG and our Canadian big man.

Aubie's 5' 11" PG had a double-double at the half, could wind up with a triple double. Which would give him more points, assists and rebounds than anyone on our team.

And he is a Freshman that missed the early part of the season. Embarassing.
Have you noticed TreVaughn on the beach or in timeout huddles?  I’m wondering if he’s already gotten bitten by our COVID bug.  Haven’t noticed him.

Woods contributes nothing.   He should play very little.   Couisnard isn't a good PG, but he's the best we have.   Our guard play, on both ends is bad.   Leveque is not a good defender, and does not score, so he needs to be replaced when Frink or McCreary come back.    Defense today is the worst I can remember under Martin.    You don't lose because the opponent makes threes.  You lose games because you get beat at the rim and at the FT line.  We could not defend Auburn inside the 3 pt. line.  And they outrebounded us badly.  Things look bleak at the moment to me.

Frank's teams have always been notoriously undisciplined for whatever the reason over the years.

The Covid-19 stuff is just another variation of that theme for me, but we also knew BB was going to have a much more difficult challenge with the 'rona than last season.

Muschamp didn't appear to have the Covid issues, but Frank also has an open NCAA case still hanging over his head.

I think that's really why he has lost his hair.  He knows we could potentially fire him for cause depending upon the NCAA's final judgement.

Yeah, we're losing, but at least the team has been trying to win instead of having that Belk Bowl attitude.

The other thing is we also promote the student athlete culture and expect out kids to go to class and do it right.  The down side to that right now is school kids have been responsible for some of the positive test spikes from what I have heard.

Auburn hasn't had a positive test since July and I really, really find that BS hard to believe.  As far as the testing goes, we may be getting plunked because we are actually following the rules and trying to protect our kids.
