*** USC MBB (10-7/1-4) vs. UGA (5-13/0-5) Game Thread ***

Very good second half on both ends.   We need to start playing a full game but it was still a blow out vs a bad team.

@Gary  are you still firing Frank after the game?  😝 Lol
Not now.  I said if they lose I want him fired.  I'm really surprised with the comback win.  Usually, when we get behind, we stay behind.  Frank's half tiime adjustments and the play of Couisnard, Bryant and Stevenson in the second half made a huge difference.  We didn't foul them nearly as much in the second half.

As far as I'm concerned, if USC loses this game,it is the final nail in Frank's coffin.   I want him GONE!!!!!  And I'd fire him now.  I wouldn't wait until the end of the season.
Oh, look, it's the Robert Paulson memorial man-boobs thread.  It looks like somebody needs a hug.  LOL

I didn't watch the game.  Did we win?  LOL

This men's basketball team is quite an enigma, one half they look like it's the first time they've ever been on a basketball court and then in the second half they look like a top 20 team. It's got to be frustrating for Frank.

That being said this changes nothing concerning Frank's status.  Make no mistake about it this was a very bad UGA team.  Losing that game IMO would have doomed any chance Frank had of continuing here after this year barring some miracle turnaround. The big question going forward is what does Bryant and Cousinard do in the next game?  Combine for 7 points or play like they did yesterday and more like we had thought they would coming into the season?

I would like to see us play more of the zone press.  I realize that Frank doesn't like that but something has to be done to reduce this constant parade to the FT line like we witnessed in the first half.

^^THIS.  For whatever the reason, Frank's teams have always been weird.

The Final Four team was truly awful at a certain point in that season, but Frank got everything roped in and we saw what happened.

This is a really good team from what I saw earlier in the season, but they are new to the system and have had to figure out how to win with each more difficult level.

I just decided to step back and watch the team from a distance until they figured some things out and will probably go to Wednesday night's Vandy game at the CLA.
