With the amount of fouls and turnovers we committed, we were lucky to win.   Officiating was bad.   We don't get the ball to Wildens nearly enough.  Bryant was a walking foul today.   Couisnard made a big difference for us at PG.   He is much better than Wright.   If we can get Bryant to play better, we can be a pretty good team.  Gotta have less fouls and turnovers.   We were also bad on threes today.  Glad we won though.

Agree on all points.  Stevenson needs to shoot every chance he gets.  Vandy made several good runs in the last 5-6 minutes and we refused to fold.  On a side note I no longer have any idea what constitutes a charge or a block in college basketball, men or women's.

Frank spoke after the game about the fouls and turnovers.   They will work on trying to do better in those areas.   We got outscored by 13 on FT.  Would have been a comfortable win but for that difference.   We are called for many more fouls than our opponents are   I watched the game today and I didn't see a big difference in fouls between the teams.  But there was a big differece in fouls called on us.

This wasn't a must win, but it was an important win. Lose this and we could realistically be looking at an 0-5 start to league play with Tennessee, Florida, and Arkansas up next.

Stackhouse had Pippen be more aggressive in the second half and draw fouls.

Derek Scott said during the broadcast that FTs have been 20% of Vandy's offense.

Most everyone scored like they did in the FSU game and others so far this season.  We had 30 points off from the bench.

It's still one game at a time, but we have a good team that will get better as this season plays out.

Everybody played and everybody scored and the defense was good eventually.

You could say none of that about the teams of the recent seasons.  They would hit their threes instead of penetrating the paint in OOC games but not play defense; that would bite them in conference play when they couldn't hit their 3-pt attempts.

The new throwback unis are still fire.

I have gotten into the habit of listening to Derek and The Judge on the radio while monitoring the live stats web page.

Everything is synched-up and you don't have that 60-second delay with WatchESPN to worry about.

They did a good job of pointing out the lousy officiating in the game, too.

You can tell Derek and Casey also sense we have a good team this year as well.

The win is the third inside of Memorial Gymnasium since 2010 for South Carolina and the second under Frank Martin.

Sa-lute!
