OL Carter Warren 6'6" 324lbs of Passaic, NJ has been interested in USC since the Gamecocks offered earlier this year and that interest, both ways, hasn’t waned.
“I’ve just got to visit down there and maybe take it even farther with them,” Warren said. “I’ve got a good relationship with Coach Elliott down there. It’s been a good ride with them so far.”
Elliott has not yet been by Warren’s school but he said the two did talk last week.
“He was just telling me how I would fit perfectly with his offensive line,” Warren said. “It’s so physical and powerful on the line of scrimmage. It’s a situation where I would just automatically fit in.”
Warren plans to visit USC this summer. He also counts offers from Miami, Michigan, Maryland. Penn State, Kentucky, Rutgers, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, Syracuse and Tennessee. His regular contact now is coming from USC, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Michigan and Pittsburgh. He has taken visits to Penn State, Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Temple, Maryland, Virginia Tech and Syracuse this spring.
Warren said he doesn’t have favorites yet but he plans to work on that and get a shot list out before too much longer. He would expect to USC to be on that list once he visits there this summer.
